How are you feeding yourself?

During my 1-1 session yesterday I spoke with my student about how we treat our mind, and how important it is to choose our thoughts (not always easy, granted) to create a positive state.
I mulled this over and it came to me that what we choose to give our attention to is sooo important. I really feel that every little thought, be it negative or positive has tremendous power to affect us, especially if it creates strong feelings, which then may become part of our outer world/reality. I think because from my experience, doing yoga can make you feel more sensitive, and your mind becomes more attuned to different states within you, I have thought and felt that the tiniest intention of a thought creates a far bigger effect than you realize.
So, as I was eating my breakfast today thinking about all you out there eating your breakfast, that question popped into my head, 'How are you feeding yourself? Not just the food you eat, but what you bring into your consciousness. How are you feeding your mind? Give it some thought. Happy Saturday!
